Adidas Originals by Olivia Oblanc capsule collection

After Daniëlle Cathari, Adidas Originals has enlisted another emerging designer. New York-based Olivia Oblanc has created a 15-piece collection for the German sportswear giant. Adidas announced this news on its website.

Oblanc, a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York, founded her eponymous label in 2017. The Oblanc brand markets unisex streetwear. In addition to gender neutrality, sustainability is an important pillar. The brand 'recycles and reworks to prevent overproduction', according to its website.

These themes are reflected in the collaborative collection. Adidas Parley's recycled fabrics were used, according to the news release. The Adidas Originals by Olivia Oblanc capsule collection is also unisex.

Oblanc has also remained true to her streetwear/workwear-inspired style. The collection includes, for example, a blue quilted tracksuit top and matching tracksuit bottoms. A yellow padded jacket and 'rugby shirt' are decorated with logos and decorative straps.

The Adidas Originals by Olivia Oblanc collection launched in London and is now available through the Adidas webshop, including in the Netherlands. The capsule collection is also available at selected retailers such as Barney's, Dover Street Market, Kith, NAKED, Pam Pam, Selfridges and YME.
